Counselling in Bournemouth
Supporting your capacity for growth, healing and self-understanding
Therapy that is warm, collaborative
and grounded in respect
I believe you know yourself best. My role isn’t to tell you how to live, but to support you as you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe space. When we work together, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard and never judged.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. Many people come to therapy feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or just wanting to understand themselves better. All of that is welcome here.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing happens through connection, safety and being truly understood.
There is no right or wrong way for you to do therapy,
your therapeutic journey is as unique as you are
Counselling services I offer
I offer a range of counselling options depending on what feels right for you. I provide counselling in Bournemouth, as well as online and telephone sessions across the UK, making therapy accessible and flexible. Each way of working is shaped around accessibility, comfort and what helps you feel most at ease.
You can work with me in the following ways:
I work with you to understand from your perspective
Who I work with
I work with adults from many different backgrounds and experiences. Many people I support are dealing with anxiety, trauma, burnout, low self-esteem, or relationship issues.
I also have experience working with neurodivergent people, including those with ADHD, autism, and those exploring or receiving a diagnosis later in life. I welcome LGBTQ+ individuals, people with visible and invisible disabilities, and those in caring roles.
Some people come to therapy with a clear issue in mind. Others just want space to understand themselves better, outside of the roles or expectations they’ve experienced in life. Both are completely valid and welcome.
All feelings are welcome here
How I work
I am an integrative counsellor, which means I use different therapy approaches and adapt our work to fit you as an individual.
My core approach is person-centred, so you guide the pace and direction of therapy. Alongside this, I work in a trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming way, always adapting how we work together to meet your needs.
When helpful, pull tools and approaches from mindfulness, CBT, Gestalt or Transactional Analysis. Therapy can also include creative or grounding items such as emotion cards, drawing or fidgets, depending on what best supports you.
Above all, I believe you deserve to feel safe, respected, and understood in therapy.

is shame for being human” – Brené Brown
Start your therapy journey
Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, so take your time. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly what you need before you get in touch. You can start by emailing me to introduce yourself or ask any questions. Once we’ve been in contact, we can arrange either:
- a full 50-minute initial meeting session (£30), or
- an optional 15-minute phone call if that feels easier for you first
The consultation is a chance for us to see if working together feels right, and there’s no obligation to continue.
