Online Counselling in the UK
Online counselling is a flexible and accessible way to receive support from anywhere in the UK.
Whether you prefer the comfort of your own home, need a sensory-friendly option or simply find online sessions easier to fit into your life, therapy can still feel personal, connected and grounding.
I work with clients across the UK, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Wales and Scotland, as well as those living in rural areas where local services may be limited.

Benefits of remote counselling
Online therapy can be a helpful option if you are looking for:
- access to counselling from anywhere in the UK
- a familiar and comfortable environment
- reduced travel time and cost
- a sensory-friendly alternative to in-person sessions
- flexibility around work, caring responsibilities or health needs
Many people find that being in their own space helps them feel more relaxed and able to open up in their own time.
Feeling comfortable can make it easier to open up,
reflect and breathe a little more deeply
Who I work with
Online counselling can support you with a range of experiences, such as anxiety, trauma, burnout, low self-esteem or relationship difficulties. I work with adults from many different backgrounds and life situations. Online sessions offer a flexible way for you to access therapy, wherever you are in the UK.
I also have experience working with neurodivergent clients, including people with ADHD, autism and those exploring or receiving a diagnosis later in life. I welcome LGBTQ+ clients, people with visible and invisible disabilities and those in caring roles or navigating complex systems.
Online therapy can be especially supportive if you prefer reduced sensory input, more control over your environment or the option to use fidget tools or grounding items during sessions. You might be going through something specific, or you may simply want a space to understand yourself more deeply. Both are equally valid reasons to begin therapy.
Therapy is about having a space where you can be yourself
Online therapy explained
Online counselling sessions take place through secure video calls, using WhatsApp or Google Meet. All you need is a quiet space, a device with a camera and a stable internet connection.
Sessions last 50 minutes and follow the same structure as in-person therapy. You are welcome to bring whatever feels important to you, whether that is a specific issue, something ongoing, or simply a need to talk and be heard.
Some people like to have a drink, a blanket, or grounding objects nearby. You can shape your space in whatever way feels most supportive for you.
There is no pressure to have the right words
What to expect from online sessions
Remote counselling offers the same depth and support as in-person work. Sessions are collaborative and led by you. There is no expectation to have the right words or to know exactly where to begin.
You can take your time. We can explore things gently and at a pace that feels manageable.
If you are unsure what to talk about, we can use creative tools such as emotion cards or grounding objects. These can be adapted for online sessions and used in ways that feel comfortable for you.

Start your therapy journey
Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, so take your time. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly what you need before you get in touch. You can start by emailing me to introduce yourself or ask any questions. Once we’ve been in contact, we can arrange either:
- a full 50-minute initial meeting session (£30), or
- an optional 15-minute phone call if that feels easier for you first
Standard online counselling sessions are £40 for 50 minutes. The consultation is a chance for us to see if working together feels right, and there’s no obligation to continue.
