I want you to feel comfortable and understood. I work in a neurodiversity-affirming way, adapting our sessions to what feels right for you, whether that means focusing on your needs, communication style, or pace. Therapy can offer a space to explore experiences in a way that feels validating and supportive, without needing to explain or justify how you experience the world. What counselling can help with

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be experiencing a specific challenge, or you may simply feel a need to better understand yourself.

I work with adults from many different backgrounds and experiences. Many people I support are dealing with anxiety, trauma, burnout, low self-esteem, or relationship issues.

I also have experience working with neurodivergent clients, including people with ADHD, autism, and those exploring or receiving a diagnosis later in life. I also support LGBTQ+ clients, people with visible and invisible disabilities, and those in caring roles.

There’s no right or wrong reason to start therapy. Whatever you want to bring is welcome, and we’ll explore it together at your pace.

Choosing the right type of therapy

There is no one “right” way to access counselling. The best option is the one that feels most comfortable and accessible for you. You can attend in-person counselling services in Bournemouth, or connect remotely from anywhere in the UK, whatever suits your life best.

Face-to-face counselling offers a dedicated safe space away from your day-to-day environment, which some people find grounding. While, online counselling provides flexibility, allowing you to attend sessions from home. This can be especially helpful if you have a busy schedule or accessibility requirements. Furthermore, telephone counselling can feel less intense for some, removing the pressure of being seen on screen while still offering meaningful connection and support.

If you’re unsure which option is right for you, we can explore this together. You’re also welcome to switch between formats if your needs change over time.

but you are worthy of love and belonging.” - Brene Brown
Start your therapy journey

Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, so take your time. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly what you need before you get in touchYou can start by emailing me to introduce yourself or ask any questions. Once we’ve been in contact, we can arrange either:

  • a full 50-minute initial meeting session (£30), or
  • an optional 15-minute phone call if that feels easier for you first

The consultation is a chance for us to see if working together feels right, and there’s no obligation to continue.
