On the harder days tell yourself…

Here are some things to remember on the harder days, if anything here resonates with you, you are welcome to reach out for support.

  • I will keep noticing the small things that bring me joy.
  • I will remember to check in with myself regularly – how is my breath, body, where are my thoughts wondering?
  • If or when my thoughts wonder off somewhere unsafe, I can always bring my thoughts back to this present moment where I am safe. Sometimes it takes practice, I have done it before and can do it again. It is okay for thoughts to wonder, when I notice, I can gently bring them back without judgement and anchor in my safe space.
  • I am allowed to feel grateful for things in my life.
  • I am allowed to rest as often as my body needs; I do not need to earn rest.
  • I will give myself permission to feel my feelings.
  • I can re-arrange my schedule, wherever possible to meet my OWN needs, this is OKAY, each day I may feel differently.
  • I am able to remember and protect the boundaries I have created for my own wellbeing.
  • I am allowed to and deserve to be kind to myself.

You are allowed to look after yourself.
